We know that money can be a struggle, and for some families, the expense of food today may be causing additional hardships. We would like to help!
Thanks to support from the Community Harvest Food Pantry, Steuben County Community Foundation, Kiwanis of Angola, Fremont Chamber, Fremont American Legion Auxiliary, Fremont Moose, and many other contributions, Fremont Community School (FCS) is able to again provide the Community Harvest Backpack Program.
The backpacks will be filled with non-perishable foods and sent home on Friday afternoons with your child. Our goal is to provide children with some nutritious food over the weekend. This program will be of no cost to you and is entirely supported through grants, local donors, and volunteers.
Your child will pick up a Backpack on Friday afternoons. We only need your permission and cooperation to include your student(s) in the program. We are going to start the program in September!
