DAR

Delaney Bock represented Fremont High School at the Pokagon chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution good citizens program at the Fremont Public Library on November 11th 2024.  The Pokeague Daughters of the American Revolution sponsors the DAR good citizens program and scholarship contest for Steuben County.  It is the intention of the program to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship.  The opportunity to participate in the Steuben County program is open to Angola, Fremont and Hamilton High School seniors.  One senior student is chosen within each school district based on qualities of dependability, service, leadership, Patriotism and Scholastics.  Each student received a pin, a wallet card and a cash award.  Delaney's essay was chosen to represent Steuben County in the state competition.  Congratulations Delaney.DAR
