Reminder:
Fremont Middle School Grandparents Day is tomorrow, September 13th. This event will be in the Middle School gym from 7:15am - 8:15am.
Overflow parking will be available in the South Parking Lot located behind the Middle School. You will need to walk around the building to the front entrance to enter the school.

Fremont Parents and Guardians
As you may have seen, social media school threats continue to arise across the country. Fremont Community Schools has not been listed on any of these posts. MSD of Steuben County (Angola Schools) sent out information to their parents for a threat made towards their middle school earlier today. We will continue to monitor this situation and provide additional information when it comes available.
Please know that we take each and every threat directed towards our schools and members of our school communities very seriously. We will remain vigilant and are taking proactive steps to closely monitor the situation, actively assess any threats to our schools with the implementation of school safety plans, and increased law enforcement presence including Fremont Police Department to help keep our schools, students and staff safe.

There has been some concern from parents about head lice within the school, if you are concerned that your child may have head lice, please check your student at home and treat appropriately. Your child can also come to the nurse's office to be checked by clinic staff and parent/guardian will be notified if head lice is identified.
The FMS School-Wide Fundraiser officially kicked off yesterday! This fundraiser will be continuing through Monday, September 23rd. One of our featured items is the appetizing Otis Spunkmeyer Cookie Dough!
If you want to support, find any FMS student and they will be able to take your order, either by paper, or online.

Pork burgers and Bake sale tonight at the Fremont vs. Angola Football Game
Fremont Wrestling will be selling pork burgers to support the wrestling program.
The FCTA (teacher's association) will be selling baked goods to help support the Education Scholarship they give out to a Fremont senior each year.
Fremont Parents, Guardians, and Community Members
This morning MSD of Steuben County Schools (Angola) received a threat from a student over social media. The suspect was quickly apprehended by Angola Police Department. No threat was made towards Fremont Community Schools. Fremont Community Schools is looking into if this social media post was shared to any of our students. All of our local schools along with our police departments are working together and doing everything possible to keep our students and communities safe and secure.
The FMS School-Wide Fundraiser begins on Monday, September 9th, 2024.
This fundraiser occurs every two years, and supports many aspects of our school, as you will see in the top caption of the flier below.
Students will receive this flier on Monday, but if you would like to give your student a head start you can scan the QR Code in the flier or go to shopfund.com to preregister them.
You will use your students Eagle Time teacher for the Teacher Name field.
**Please Note: Parents/Guardians MUST register a student in order to create a Student Code for others to use and shop. Once registered, this code will be displayed on your Students Fundraiser Dashboard for you to share with family and friends.
There are great prizes for students this year!
