All of us in Fremont are shocked and deeply saddened by the tragic death of three of our young children and their mother. There are no words that can adequately express our sorrow for the loss of this family. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers. On behalf of Fremont Community Schools, I extend our sincerest sympathy to this family. They have our heartfelt sympathy during this difficult time. We will have extra grief counselors at the school to help with any needs our faculty, staff and students have.

8th Grade Fourth Amendment Mock Trial...
The FMS 8th Graders in Mr. Kuespert's class participated in a mock trial of a Fourth Amendment search-and-seizure case. The student learned about how a trial was conducted, how to serve as impartial jurors, and what vocabulaty terms might be used in a court case and their meanings. The result? Four juries said not guilty and two juries were hung. No guilty verdicts.

8th grade took second place in the middle school hallway decorating competition with the them Frozen.

7th grade placed fourth in the hallway decorating competition with the theme Polar Express.

6th grade placed third in the hallway decorating competition with the theme The North Pole.

5th grade students had a penny war in order to help the 5th and 6th student council raise money for the Fremont Community Church Food Bank. The "winning" teacher, Mrs. Kinsey, got a pie in the face.
