The Fremont Chapter of the National Honor Society held its yearly Induction Ceremony on Tuesday, October 22 at 7:00 PM. Seven Fremont High School students were invited to join the school's NHS.
The National Honor Society is an organization built upon the four pillars of character, scholarship, leadership, and service. Students submit an application in early October. Those applications are reviewed by a committee of teachers, and a decision is announced.
The newly inducted Senior members included Ashland Benner, Victoria Geller, Addy Parr, and Alexys Stevens. The newly inducted Junior members included Gabriella Concus, Emery Laughlin, and Charlie Senecal.
The ceremony was conducted by the previous inductees Delaney Bock (Co-President), Olivia Dirig, Claire Foulk, Tressa Howey (Co-President), Landon Jaeger, Mahlia Scantlen, and Shay Teachout (Secretary). A small reception was held after the ceremony.
